Nychair X Ottoman - Camel
The Nychair, produced in Japan since 1970, has been loved and admired the world over. Its simple, beautiful and functional design has earned it accolades and awards. Minimialist in design the chair can be easily folded and transported from room to room, brought to an outside patio or easily tucked away when space is needed in tighter quarters.
This ottoman is the perfect accompaniment to the Nychair X and really extends comfort. Like the chair, the ottoman can also be folded away when not in use. Can also be used on its own as a simple stool or side table.
Crafted from top-grade Kurashiki sailcloth in a sailcloth factory producing the material since 1888. The seat cover is removable for cleaning and does not create static electricity.

Takeshi Nii was one of the creators of the NychairX. He was the third generation owner of a company manufacturing Kendo equipment in Tokushima Prefecture. He aimed to "make a chair like the curry rice everybody loves". That is to day, a chair that would be reasonable priced, comfortable to sit on and useful.
