Iga Mono Kamado San Rice Cooker CT-01
There's a reason Iga Mono's Kamado San Rice Cooker has sold nearly a million units in Japan since its release in 2000: it easily makes a premium quality rice that is rich in flavour, fluffy and perfectly textured. The large clay body is porous and allows the rice to breathe while cooking, while the thickness allows head to evenly radiate throughout and cook the rice thoroughly. In addition the outer and inner lids act like a pressure cooker and prevent the pot from boiling over.
Making rice in this Kamado San is dead simple and requires a medium-high heating and a rest period. During the rest period the rice continues to cook to the warmth contained in the wall of the pot - steaming and creating the premium quality rice.
The pot is multi-purpose and can be used for soups, stews and hot pots: simply remove the inner lid and cook as desired.
